We are in need of re-supplying our Little Free Libraries and the Warming Hut for the winter. We are in short supply for adult fiction/non-fiction and anything about the natural world and earth sciences.
ALL donations may be dropped off at the park office daily between 9am – 3pm. If you need help transporting boxes or have any questions, please email: [email protected]

Background
The Friends of Moreau Lake along with a grant from Stewart’s Holiday Match Program have built, installed and stocked (4) Little Free Libraries around the park. The idea is simple – A Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange. They come in many shapes and sizes, but the most common version is a small wooden box of books. Anyone may take a book or bring a book to share. Little Free Library book exchanges have a unique, personal touch. There is an understanding that real people are sharing their favorite books with their community; Little Libraries have been called “mini-town squares. Please click here to learn all about the Libraries.
Four libraries were assembled and installed by Scout Troop 24 on May 4th during I Love My Park Day. You can download a map of the locations HERE
All the libraries have been registered with the Little Free Library Organization and are posted on their worldwide map.
The libraries are restocked on Mondays and Fridays so new material is always available.
This project was made possible with a grant received by the Stewart’s Holiday Match Program
