NYS DEC has published a quick guide to help you Hike Smart – and also to Leave No Trace. Statewide, visitors to our parks are leaving trash behind in increasing amounts. Moreau Lake State Park is no exception as we’ve previously highlighted in several posts. Litter is both an eyesore and poses a danger to local wildlife and delicate ecosystems.
