Volunteer Opportunities Update 1/18

We often hear from so many people how much families and friends appreciate all the work we do.  We are successful because we have so many dedicated volunteers who fully embrace the concept of “giving back” and uniting together for a common cause – supporting the park and welcome everyone we meet with a big smile. It’s a lot of fun, you’ll meet new friends and hang with the old! We can team you up with someone if you’re a bit shy to take the first step. Just let us know.

  1. High School Ice Fishing Club Clinic, Jan 22.; 8:30am to 1:00pm– help is needed to work with the students on the ice, staff the warming hut, grill hot dogs, hot chocolate, tend the fires. Knowledge of ice fishing is not necessary but welcome for those that can help. SIGN UP HERE

  3. Annual Chili Dinner Fundraiser, Friday Feb. 20th 5:30pm – 8:30pm – help is needed for set up, clean up. PLUS – we need chili’s and sides. Your chili could be the 2026 winner so roll up those sleeves and put on the apron!! T0 volunteer to help and/or bring a chili and/or sides, please call the office: 518-793-0511

Below you will find two documents that are required to be completed prior to volunteering during Friend’s sponsored events and MLSP park events in which you are participating as a volunteer.

The documents are valid for one calendar year and once completed will be securely stored in the park manager’s office.

These may be filled out at the first event you are volunteering for, or you may fill them out and mail to:
