What can we say but WOW!! We are so very grateful for the response to everything we did beginning with the park staff whose partnership and support began long before the event, to the volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, donors, and of course – Mother Nature for gracing us with a spectacular day!
We heard from so many attendees how much they loved everything about it. We also talked with a number of families who had never been to the park before and couldn’t believe what they’ve been missing. Many people expressed how positive, enthusiastic and genuinely considerate everyone was who helped run the show. It was the perfect getaway for a day.
Where do we begin to thank everyone who made this possible? Well, we start with the Volunteers who bring their talents, skills and dedication all working together, all borne from the heart. They are the foundation upon which we stand.
The Sponsors and Donors – Our Community! This is our annual, most significant fundraiser and without the generosity of the community, we could never continue to provide and support member programs and park events that enrich the experience for all park patrons. Our annual funding comes from these special events, memberships and grants.
An of course, the Exhibitors who are the core of the festival – sharing their educational programs, life enrichment hobbies/experiences or just plain fun entertainment for the little ones in such a beautiful setting. Every year we all learn something new and take home something special because of it.
