After a 2-year absence, NatureFest returned hoping to bring environmental awareness, demonstrations, music, food, healthy and historical information and most of all – FUN to our park. Given the turnout – close to 1,500 visitors, the all-volunteer Friends put on quite a show. We had 30 volunteers working the day and are all so grateful for their support. Park staff worked side by side in preparation, moving tables, cleaning up and keeping an eye on things.
