Aquatic Invasives

Have you ever wondered what is so harmful about invasive plants and animals? Here we will explore just that question. Join a nature center educator for a crash course on what “invasive” means (not all non-native life is invasive), examples of invasive and introduced species, what “invasion” means for local ecosystems, and how to recognize aquatic invasives. This program is geared towards 12+. The program is $5 per adult and $1 per child (cash or check) at the park office when you arrive.
