Maintaining a grateful mindset promotes emotional strength and well-being, and luckily for us, this planet gives us plenty to appreciate! Kid’s Ice Fishing Clinic, Two Sessions
Come to the boat launch to learn how to ice fish, what kind of fish are in our lake and a little about ice safety. This program is free and weather permitting. There will be two separate sessions: 10am-12pm and 12pm-2pm with a limit of 25 kids per session. Call the park office to register 518-793-0511, space is limited!

Join an educator on a start and stop hike for a couple miles to investigate the forested landscape. Learning from Tom Wessels’ books and videos on understanding the history, human activity, and natural events like storms and fires and how it formed the physical forest around us.
