Spiders lend a helping hand (or eight) in balancing our ecosystem! Join a nature center educator to learn about spider life cycles, native spiders and the importance of spiders in our natural communities. Open to all ages.

This program is all about our animals in the night. Learning about their behaviors and the benefits it brings to their ecosystem. This program is geared toward homeschool students ages 6-12 years old, but all are welcome. Please register in advance by calling 518-793-0511.

In honor of Bat Week, we will be educating people at the nature center on the need for conservation of bats and how important they are to the health of an ecosystem, and doing a small craft. Registration is not required, drop in anytime during open Nature center hours 10-3pm

The Friends of Moreau Lake are putting on their annual Halloween event, there will be games, nature-based education, and most importantly fun! Please register in advance for this event by calling 518-793-0511.

We will be hiking a more difficult loop hike that connects the Lake Bonita, Waterfall, Western Ridge, and Lake Anne Trails. The hike is approximately 6 miles.
