Lacto-Fermenting Tutorial

Wondering how to preserve all those extra vegetable in your garden while enhancing your health? We’ve all heard how important our gut health is and one way to improve your gut biome is with probiotic foods. Come to the Nature Center where we’ll learn how to lacto-ferment vegetables. Bring a quart size mason jar with a lid, and any vegetables you have in abundance that you’d like to share. This program is for all ages. The cost is $5 for adults (18+) and $1 per child, payable by cash or check at the office upon your arrival.
