DESCRIPTION:Big Bend is an 860-acre addition to our park is now officially open to the public! The preserve features over 6 miles of hiking and equestrian trails\, great birding and wildlife viewing\, and gorgeous views of mountains and the Hudson River. Although beavers are a nocturnal animal\, there is plenty evidence of beaver activity at our new land\, come on a short hike with an educator to explore some wetlands and beaver facts. Parking lot is gravel\, but trail is wheelchair and stroller accessible.\nThis program is for all ages.\nWe will meet at the park office and caravan to the new trailhead\, tell the booth operator you are there for a guided hike at Big Bend.
