Black History Month Taxidermy Program

John Edmonstone was born an enslaved individual, died a freed man and along the way taught bird taxidermy to none other than Charles Darwin. We will learn about his remarkable life and try our hand at ‘taxidermy’- stuffing upcycled plush toy animals that you get to take home. All materials provided. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. The cost is $1 per child, $5 per adult, payable by cash or check at the office upon your arrival. To reserve your spot call 518-793-0511.
