Do you enjoy working with animals, have some spare time (just 4 hours a week), don’t mind rolling up your sleeves or maybe even considered becoming a NYS Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator?

NYS Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and Friend’s Lifetime Member – Nancy Kimball, has an immediate opening for a worker to assist with animal care under her supervision. It is part time (4 hours) with flexible hours and starting pay at $18/hour. She is located in the Warrensburg area.

Tasks include care and maintenance of the animal habitats, cages and crates. General clean up, helping with organization of supplies and assisting Nancy with rehabilitative care. She currently has non-releasable raptors in residence – Red Tailed Hawks, Barred and Barn Owls, Saw-Whet Owl and a Raven. There are always other wild life to rescue and she is currently in the process of caring for a baby flying squirrel.
