In spite of gloomy weather close to 1,400 visitors came to the park to enjoy our 22nd annual NatureFest. We had 55 exhibitors all with a message or connection to environmental awareness. Hot Dogs, chili and baked goods also proved to be a big success by the smiles on the faces. We had the Schroon River String Band entertain us with a great selection of bluegrass classics.
We want to thank over 40 volunteers who made the day special – we could not have done this without you – literally. Thank you also goes out to the sponsors and donors who, through their support enables the Friends to continue to provide programs, events and stewardship of the park we all love.
