We had a record breaking number of attendees at this years Chili Dinner. It was a combination chili-fest along with presentations by Moreau Lake State Park Staff and local naturalist/botanist Jackie Donnelly. We raised over $400 all of which will go directly to supporting our mission of education, events and stewardship at the park.
Rebecca Mullins, Park Educator talked about the park, it’s various attributes and highlighted the new land that was recently acquired. Jackie Donnelly gave a presentation on The Rare and Protected Plants of Moreau Lake State Park. She has included it in her blog and we encourage you to see the full presentation. http://saratogawoodswaters.blogspot.com/2019/02/rare-and-protected-plants-of-moreau.html
