Nature Center Exhibits

Come inside the Nature Center

and you will find multiple animal displays commonly found throughout the region. They include:

  • Red Fox
  • Snowy Owl, Osprey, Red Tailed Hawk
  • Canada Goose
  • Beaver
  • Black Bear
  • Coyote
  • Mallard, Loon and Canada Geese

There are also live exhibits of snakes, turtles, monarch butterflies and an active Honey Bee Observatory. There are aquatic fish tanks, chilled and filtered to the correct temperature housing fish commonly found in Moreau Lake, Bonita Lake and Lake Ann. There are video displays as well as electronic microscopes.

The Center is CLOSED for the winter – open during spring, summer and fall and offers multiple programs for families, children and adults covering a broad scope of environmental conservation and cultural awareness.
