Title Time Description
Pilates in the Park 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM We are lucky to partner with Method Pilates and begin offering Pilates in the Park. Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements; it is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who originally called it 'Contrology'. It is an accessible way to strengthen your core and improve posture, balance and flexibility. Pilates can provide a gentle strength training and stability program, or give a seasoned athlete a challenging workout. Pilates is good for every body and everybody!
This class will cost $15 and will require you to bring your own yoga style mat, water and be timely with your arrival. If you would like to learn more about Pilates or the instructor, please follow the link attached www.methodpilatessaratoga.com
These classes will last about 45 minutes and we must have a minimum of 3 people signed up so please call the office with 24-hour advanced notice to reserve your spot, 518-793-0511.
Potter Point Hike 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Join a Park Educator on this easily navigable and trail free parcel of the park. There will be beautiful views of the Hudson River and some neat natural wonders to explore. This is a flat, bushwhacking hike. Reservations are required with 24 hours advanced notice, please call 518-793-0511.
