Title Time Description
Pilates in the Park 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM We are lucky to partner with Method Pilates and begin offering Pilates in the Park. Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements; it is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who originally called it 'Contrology'. It is an accessible way to strengthen your core and improve posture, balance and flexibility. Pilates can provide a gentle strength training and stability program, or give a seasoned athlete a challenging workout. Pilates is good for every body and everybody!
This class will cost $15 and will require you to bring your own yoga style mat, water and be timely with your arrival. If you would like to learn more about pilates or the instructor, please follow the link attached www.methodpilatessaratoga.com
These classes will last about 45 minutes and we must have a minimum of 3 people signed up so please call the office with 24-hour advanced notice to reserve your spot, 518-793-0511.
Lake Ann Hike 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM A Park Educator will lead this hike through part of the woods over at Lake Bonita to Lake Ann. This is a bit of a longer hike but on rather flat land. This hike will take us about 2.5 miles one way to a beautiful bog. There is a lean to at Lake Ann that we can stop and have lunch at. Make sure to bring some water.
