Title Time Description
Pilates in the Park 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM We are lucky to partner with Method Pilates and begin offering Pilates in the Park. Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements; it is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who originally called it 'Contrology'. It is an accessible way to strengthen your core and improve posture, balance and flexibility. Pilates can provide a gentle strength training and stability program, or give a seasoned athlete a challenging workout. Pilates is good for every body and everybody!
This class will cost $15 and will require you to bring your own yoga style mat, water and be timely with your arrival. If you would like to learn more about Pilates or the instructor, please follow the link attached www.methodpilatessaratoga.com
These classes will last about 45 minutes and we must have a minimum of 3 people signed up so please call the office with 24-hour advanced notice to reserve your spot, 518-793-0511.
Knee High Naturalists 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM This class is intended for children ages 1-6 and their parents/guardians along with any siblings. We will read a short story or two based on the outdoors and then go for a short hike hoping to see some cool wildlife. Registration is necessary with 24-hour advanced notice, please call 518-793-0511. Please stop at the office first to pay for the event then we will head down to the nature center. Due to other programing this week’s class is at 1:00pm.
